Sr. Account Executive (m/w/x)

YOUR MISSION
As our Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by closing high-value outbound deals with leading retailers across the DACH region. In this role, you'll not only leverage your sales expertise but also bring technical acumen to navigate the complex, technical nature of our product. Your consultative, solutions-oriented approach will be key to educating and guiding customers through a sophisticated sales process. This is a unique opportunity to significantly impact our sales strategy and shape the next phase of growth for our company.
YOUR TASKS
  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic, high-value customers.
  • Work closely with BDRs to maximize the pipeline, ensuring that qualified leads are efficiently nurtured and converted into successful deals.
  • Apply your technical expertise to deeply understand customer needs, providing tailored solutions that align with our product offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of our sales playbooks, processes, and overall strategy, helping to shape the future of our sales organization.
  • Collaborate closely with our leadership team to refine and elevate our sales strategy, establishing a scalable sales funnel that leverages both your efforts and the support of BDRs.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You bring 4+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS startup or scaleup, with a proven track record of generating and nurturing a healthy pipeline, particularly through outbound efforts.You have successfully closed six-figure deals with mid-market and enterprise customers, particularly within the retail sector.You possess strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and explain complex products and concepts, including APIs and other technical integrations.You are a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a talent for educating and guiding customers through complex sales processes.You are curious, constantly learning, and motivated by challenges, always seeking innovative ways to push boundaries and achieve success.You are fluent in German and English, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, agile team.
Bonus points if:
  • Experience in a related field (B2B transactions, procurement, supply-chain, operations, retail, ERP) is a strong plus.

HIRING PROCESS
  • Screening call: You will hop on a short, 30 Min. call to clarify what we are looking for and hear about your motivation and excitement to kick-off the process!
  • Initial interview: We have a first longer conversation to get to know each other and to see if there is a mutual fit. We will make sure to align on expectations about the company, the role as well as our motivations.
  • Mock sales call: You will be asked to do a mock sales call, leveraging what you know about Procuros to perform effective discovery and explain the value prop.
  • Meet the team: The final step in the interview process includes meeting your team members.
